Diestel Turkey goes Italian. Serve with your favorite pasta!

Diestel product: Turkey Tenderloins

Ingredients:
6 Diestel Turkey Breast Tenderloins (4-6 oz. each)
1 egg
1/8 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, split
2 Tbsp. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, pressed
2 cups tomato sauce
1/4 tsp. dry basil
1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Combine eggs, salt and pepper in bowl. Set aside. Combine bread crumbs and 1/4 cup parmesan cheese. Set aside. Dip breast pieces into egg mixture and then lightly into crumb mixture. Heat oil in pan. Brown breast on both sides and set in a single layer in baking dish. In pan, sauté garlic briefly. Add tomato sauce and basil and simmer for 10 minutes. Sprinkle breast pieces with 2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese. Spoon tomato sauce over all. Sprinkle tops with remaining 2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese. Cover with mozzarella cheese. Bake covered at 350° F for 20 minutes.

Serves 4 to 6.
