The Cal Poly Wheelmen is a group of students in San Luis Obispo, California, dedicated to the sport of cycling. From cross country mountain biking to road racing, to cross biking, to downhill, to slalom racing, they cover just about every spectrum of cycling there is. The Wheelmen is made up of men and women of all cycling abilities. They are very enthusiastic about racing their bicycles as well. They enter countless collegiate races each year and show a very strong presence.
They have been mountain Conference champions in their division since 1996 and they don't plan on giving up that title any time soon.

Racing isn't the only focus of the club. They like to have fun as well, which is why they organize group rides all year long for all riding abilities. And when they are not on their bikes, you can find them at many organized social events throughout the year. To put it simply, they just love the sport of cycling and all of the wonderful benefits it brings!
